Decrypt dialog doesn't always appear

Since I had to switch to Windows 8.1 (which works much better than I had expected) I have had problems getting the initial window where I enter my PGP password to appear. I am using Thunderbird 31.2.0 and Enigmail 1.7.2. It is set to automatically decrypt/verify. Clicking the decrypt/verify menu entry does nothing.

Are you using the newest version of gpg4win? If not, this would indicate that the pinentry provided by gpg4win has a problem on Windows 8.1.
