    Hello: Am trying to install/configure/use Enigmail v. 1.4.6 (20121119-2206)
    on TB v. 17.0

    Using gpg executable /usr/bin/gpg

Any suggestions how to resolve message seen (as in subject line) when receving
    encrypted emails?

    Thanks

    Hi,

as the subject suggests, the ASCII-armor has been corrupted. This is usually the case, when a badly configured MTA messes with message bodies. Do you have an example you can post here? Note that this forum is public and everybody may deduce sender and recipient. If you do not wish this, you can send the example to Patrick or me.

After reading more message forum posts on this topic elsewhere, I've concluded the difficulty comes from having pre-existing text with "> " at the start of the lines which from the "-----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE-----" block.

    Thanks.
