Impossible to send encrypted email since I switch to Mavericks (PostBox client)

Hello guys,

I used enigmail for a while with Postbox. Everything was working perfectly and that stopped after I updated MacOS to the latest version (Mavericks).

I am a simple user and I couldn't troubleshot properly :-/

Here is what I use:
Postbox 3.0.8 (french version)
enigmail 1.2.3 downloaded from there : http://www.postbox-inc.com/extensions
GPG Keychain Access 1.0b7
I use GPGTools (I don't even know why, because it has been a while but I needed it for some reasons)

Here is the problems:
I cannot encrypt anymore any mail and I cannot decrypt encrypted emails that I use to be able to decrypt automatically without any problem.

Here is what I tried to do:
I tried to update enigmail, but exept the version I am currently using (1.2.3) nothing seems to work properly with Postbox.

I tried to update GPG Keychain Access via a general update of GPG Suite with version 2013.10.22.dmg
I have no idea if that had an impact or not, if that was a good or a terrible idea. Anyhow, it did not solve the issue

When I go on the system and I check GPGPreferences, I have that :

I admit that I am running out of idea and I don't understand why it does not work. Could you please give advice and tell me how to help you understand and troubleshot the issue?

GPGTools has nothing to do with it, it runs fine on my Maverick installation and has a working GPG-agent.

I suspect, that your Postbox and the suitable Enigmail are simply too old to run on Maverick, but that's only a guess. Postbox is a propietary closed source mail client built on top of Thunderbird. They also do proprietary changes to Enigmail and do not publish them, so we cannot really tell what they're doing and why it doesn't work any more.

The only things I can recommend:

1. go to Postbox support, you have paid for it. Or
2. switch to (free) Thunderbird and (free) Enigmail and miss some Postbox features.
