    Hello,

    I couldn't export my pEp key to my Android device the way I am supposed to do it (see here). Steps to reproduce : the ones that are listed in the pEp documentation, see link.

    On Thunderbird, all I get is an email saying 'Please ignore, this message is part of key import protocol'. At this point, a handshake dialog should appear, but that is not the case here. If I answer and ask for a handshake, the pEp engine tells me that the exchange is secured and trusted, and there is nothing to do. But the import of the key as a GPG key works perfectly on Android.
    You can find the Enigmail log with the error message in attachment. There is a problem, but I can't say what it is, sorry :/

    Ah, I forgot to tell what specs I have :
    * Enigmail version : 2.0.11
    * Thunderbird version : 60.7.2 (release)
    * OS : Slackware64 14.2
    * GnuPG version : 2.2.15
    * Libgcrypt version : 1.8.4

    Regards,
    spartid

      Unfortunately, the version of the pEp engine used by Enigmail does not support handshakes. Enigmail is prepared for it, but the engine was never updated by pEp.

    Thank you for your quick answer ! I just saw they are working on version 2.0.0-RC, so with luck a new version should come soon, I'll just wait then.

      There will be no difference. pEp didn't create a new version of the engine for Enigmail.
