How can I attach my public key to a mail
I looked in the preferences and can't find any option.
2
How can I upload my public key to a key server and get a feedback
about that?
The test system adele@gnupp.de sent me the answer "I cannot find
your public key on a keyserver"
3
How can I get a visual marker in a draft in Thunderbird, that the Mail
will be sent encrypted?
Thanks for your help.
Andreas
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
if you just want to attach your key to a single mail, you can use the menu Enigmail > Attach Public Key in the Message Composition window. If you want to attach your key to all emails by default, you have to configure your account for it (menu Tools > Account Settings > OpenPGP Security).
use the Key Manager (menu Enigmail > Key Management). Right-click your key and select Upload Public Keys to Keyserver. Be aware to Adele doesn't seem to work well - I recently didn't succeed to exchange encrypted messages with Adele.
There is a toolbar icon for this in the Message Composition Window. If you can't see it, you need to customize the toolbar using the context menu on the toolbar.

Are there other providers to test the encryption?

Thanks. Sorry, that I oversee that. My toolbar was disabled.
May be you like to think about a visualization which works without a toolbar.
With a visualization of the status directly in the head of the draft?
It is just an idea. I know that an icon of a toolbar can visualize a status, but a toolbar is just an option. Users who prefer Keyboard Shortcuts for interaction, may have the toolbar disabled.
P.S.: Is there any way to get a notification by mail, when an answer arrives in this thread?
I checked the forum preferences, but I couldn't find such an option.

You can customize the toolbar and add the "Attach my Public Key" icon to the toolbar. The key will only be added during message sending - therefore you can't see it being attached immediately.
Not to my knowledge. If you want to, you can test with me (patrick AT enigmail DOT net)
PS: yes, you have to click on the envelope icon in the upper right corner of the thread. See attachment
Hello.
My situation:
TB 60.3.3
Enigmail 2.0.9
macOS
gnupg-2.2
May I ask 3 questions?

2
How can I upload my public key to a key server and get a feedback
about that?

I tried "Enigmail > Attach My Public Key" (not "Attach Public Key")

Directly after choosing the command I can't see any feedback in the draft.

How can I proof, that the key is attached, before I send the mail, please?
And Adele told me, that she didn't received my key.
