I have just started playing with Enigmail. Boy, this is great. One problem, I have just discovered that I am the only one in my cirlce of correspondents that actually uses Thunderbird. Odd, I know. Most use a web based email client like google mail, or if they are a work contact, they are forced to use stinky MS Outlook.
Please provide the documentation for a non-Thunderbird user (and one who is not very computer savvy) to receive encrypted email from me, and how to return an encrypted reply.
Otherwise sending encrypted emails only to myself makes your great tool only a curiosity with no practial purpose. Remember, the document sould be geared at a non-computer literate user who needs lots of color illustrations and works like "now press enter".

Have you read our https://www.enigmail.net/index.php/en/user-manual/ ? Yes, it's more than "just add water", that's due to the fact that Enigmail implements the OpenPGP protocol which -on purpose- lets some tasks with the user (and wasn't created with aunt Sally in mind). But it definitely is geared to "non-computer literates". We are open to contributions improving it, though ;-)
