Version 2 of enigmail has introduced object encryption (in fact, replacement). However, we can only set it in the enigmail preferences, and it would be cool to toggle it while writing an email.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you write. What do you mean with object encryption?

If you want to toggle encryption for individual emails, you might need to customize the toolbar or use the Enigmail menu.
