After receiving a fairly cryptic message upon trying to read an encryted email that I have received, I copied keys for two of my e-mail addresses from my old computer to a new computer. Then this happened: <see attached,="" partially="" redacted="" image="">.</see>

Now, that message is not very good. Here is why.

(1) 'Missing trust' is poor English, even if it has a technical sense (i.e. will be understood by those 'in the know').
(2) There is a stray full-stop.
(3) The 'ultimate' should be (for clarity) within quotation marks.
(4) I did not know where to find the 'key properties' the message mentions - and clicking the button on the left of the message does not take one directly to the window (or pane) that one needs, though admittedly if more than one key is in question (as it was) then more than one window will be needed.

4 is the most important of the above points.

EDITED. (Indeed, completely rewritten.)

-After receiving a fairly cryptic message upon trying to read an encryted email that I have received, I copied keys for two of my e-mail addresses from my old computer to a new computer. (Note: working out how to do this was itself a little harder than ideal.) A little later, I received another, equally cryptic message asking me to sign one of my own keys. I saw some box about trusting the key only locally, and clicked it. After - and because of? - that, the OK box in the dialog was greyed out. At this point I started clicking things more or less randomly - which should not happen (is not something the user should field driven towards) when security is at issue.

-I am afraid that I did not take screenshots and I do not fancy trying to recreate the situation because, for one thing, seemingly everything works at present and I do not want to jepardise that situation. I hope though that I have given you enough to work with. I venture to add that, while I appreciate Enigmail, I think that it has some way to go before it can warrant its claim to a 'simple interface'.
