After the update to v.1.9.8 enigmail causes some kind of CPU-eating loop that prevents TB from: sending mail, saving mail, exiting. TB must be killed; it does not end on its own.

This does not always happen but is the usual consequence of creating a message. When enigmail is disabled, there is no problem.
