The two little icons in the status bar of the composition window disappeard with v.1.8.0, instead there is now a huge unhandy top bar in place. I think I am not the only one thinking the little icons were good! Could you please bring back those two icons? You could make it selectable to show them in the prefernces and maybe turn them off when the new top bar is shown.

You may hide the whole bar if you want, you may move it's buttons to the standard toolbar. But the two little icons won't come back unless you create an AddOn for it. More likely, the two little icons still shown in the main window will disappear aswell.

What was the reason you kicked the sweet, little, practical one-click icons out? How many users of enigmail have to wish them back that you get convinced it was a good thing to have them?
The bigger icons are the outcome of a usability study. The old icons were too small to be noticed, especially for users not so "nerdy". They won't come back, we received more positive than negative feedback with the new status bar.
