I installed enigmail 1.4.1 for thunderbird 11, but when I tried to install enigmail 1.6.0 for seamonkey 2.21 or 2.23, seamonkey told me that enigmail is succesfully installed (but did not tell me to restart) enigmail did not appear
in the add-ons list. So it is not usable.
Enigmail is an "old style" extension, you have to restart in order to use Enigmail. If SeaMonkey doesn't tell you to do so, that's a bug in the Addons-Manager not in Enigmail.
Ok I checked again, after restarting in seamonkey (21 or 23) enigmail is installed but disabled, so I have to enable it restart again and then it works.
