The source code removed should only be rpcgen generated code, those c
files don't get checked in. It's the corresponding .x files that are in
the repos. I've never had any trouble with it - but I haven't used it
that much either. Could rename it to something else like clean-rpc to
make it explicit. It is probably needed when you are messing about with
the .x files though, or you might not get a clean re-build.
