agreed... lets take small steps... make something stable and usable... with some quality behind it. heres my 2 cents on this matter there are LOTS of people out there that install the kdelibs just because k3b is really the only full featured choice that even half way works like its supposed to. think of how many users we would have if we *just* made it comparable in features. ALOT of people would use our software if it would just burn iso's ... do audio and support projects. our pull for users stems from the fact that we will not require a phat set of libraries to use it... truth of the matter is *if* all the efl libraries are required ... they are very small compared to having to drag kdelibs or even gtk2 along with it. this will be a huge advantage to people who use E or flux or xfce or whatever alternative wm they like... heck even people that use gnome will have a good choice without the need for the dreaded K*. i agree with the fact that we should think of unique features. but i dont feel we should push the matter in the beginning. We have already seen alot of interest in this software for it to be so new and not even released yet. I think we are on to something... many others have tried to make something usable but most have failed or they simply stopped releasing new versions. if our feature set is equal to k3b... our software is still much greater than theirs because of the way we chose to implement those features by giving users a choice. well thats enough ranting for me=20 ChEEzE On 6/16/05, David Lago <dl...@mu...> wrote: > Sup, >=20 > Well, I think Wilan is right.... we sould add new features, features > that nobody has implemented yet, to make this program an attractive > choice.
