MPlayer 1.0rc1 should work fine with encode2mpeg 0.6.0.
The only problem is that encode2mpeg will fail to recognize rc1 as
a stable release and will annoy you with the warning message about
an unsupported mplayer version.

0.6.1 will be out soon, probably by the end of the week.
