For some reason, v0.10.8 x64 keeps crashing when I open it in Windows 10. Every time I launch the app, I immediately get a window saying "..has stopped working.." and the program closes. I can still get v0.10.6 x64 to work without a problem, so I'm curious as to what may have changed between versions to cause that issue. Thanks

I have not seen this bug, I can't reproduce it.
Everyone who experiences this bug, please download the "patched" EncFSMP from here:

    https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B0LyJIvQlHllRF81V1BVMDUzY1k?usp=sharing

It will write a MiniDump file when it crashes, which you can send me. With it, I might be able to diagnose the problem.
You don't need to install it, just download it an copy it to any folder and run it from there. The MiniDump file will be created in the same folder.

I was able to track this bug down with one user. I am not sure that this is the same reason for all users having this bug, but it might be.
The problem lies with PFM (the file system component of EncFSMP). The version of PFM delivered with EncFSMP 0.10.8 is 184. This is the last one without a signed driver. I assume that EncFSMP crashes with some computers who have secure boot enabled, then you require a signed driver.
The newer versions of PFM have a signed driver, but they do not work properly with EncFSMP. PismoTech knows the problem and promised to fix it, but until now the bug is there. However there is a workaround.
So now we have two possibilities: Stay with PFM 184, and switch off driver signing. How to do this, depends on the Windows version. Google is your friend. The other option is to update PFM. Then you will have to switch off "local drive" in EncFSMP. Start EncFSMP, select your mount, then "edit mount", and uncheck Local drive. Then it should work fine.

    Thanks for you work!

I have the same problem (windows 10). While installing I got the error message that it was not possible to install an unsinged driver. I reinstalled with "For developers"-mode and still there was this error message and EncFSMP crashes.

Explaination for the other workaround form RomanH:
    1. Download the newer PFM from: http://pismotec.com/download/
    2. Then you will have to switch off "local drive" in EncFSMP. Start EncFSMP, select your mount, then "edit mount", and uncheck Local drive. This just means, your decrypted drive will appear as network drive!

Please retest with the newest version EncFSMP 0.11.0! This bugs should be fixed now.
