Choosing the code base

Which code base will be the core of eMule Mix Mod? I think that eMuleFuture may be the right answer, or perhaps the X-Ray mod.
I ask to everyone to give me suggestions about this choice: we must create an eMule with a really stable upload, since this is the most important thing in a p2p network. I appreciate your collaboration.
