Hello,

I am running RH9 kernel 2.4.20 with an Audigy card. I
installed the emu10k1 driver as instructed in the
readme. Eveything worked but when i tried
'/sbin/modprobe emu10k1' i got the following output:

/lib/modules/2.4.20-8custom/kernel/drivers/sound/emu10k1/emu10k1.o:
init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module
parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the
output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8custom/kernel/drivers/sound/emu10k1/emu10k1.o:
insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8custom/kernel/drivers/sound/emu10k1/emu10k1.o
failed
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8custom/kernel/drivers/sound/emu10k1/emu10k1.o:
insmod emu10k1 failed

When i ran dmesg i got the following output:

Creative EMU10K1 PCI Audio Driver, version 0.20a,
22:23:36 Jan 10 2004
PCI: No IRQ known for interrupt pin A of device
00:0a.0. Please try using pci=biosirq.
emu10k1: IRQ in use

-- Can someone please tell me how to assign the correct
IRQ for the audigy card.

Thanks in advance,
Chris
