#127 emu10K1 not loading at boot Up, RH9

I just downloaded and installed emu10k1.v0.20a on
RedHat 9, kernel 2.4.21. The module compiled and I am
able to load it and my sound is working, however the
module did not load when the system start.

I added the line "alias sound emu10k1" to
/etc/modules.conf as indicated in the README that
accompany the driver. After taking a closer look at
/etc/modules.conf that was used with the default RH9
kernel, I found the line "alias sound-slot-0 audigy",
but no line for "alias sound audigy". I removed "alias
sound emu10k1" and changed "alias sound-slot-0 audigy"
to read "alias sound-slot-0 emu10k1", restarted the
system and the module loaded.

Other user are probably having the same problem, and
some have already figured it out. Maybe you could add
a note in the README for user of RH9 to add "alias
sound-slot-0 emu10k1" to /etc/modules.conf instead of
"alias sound emu10k1.
