#35 analog center/sub problem  Edit

i am trying to use the analog center/sub out on my new live 5.1
but am unable to get any sound out of the orange jack ( i have
switched to analog output). the analog center/sub did work with
an older live i tried and driver 0.19a. i'm using the identical setup
both times. i even tried exchanging the card for another but still no
luck. can some1 plz help

    I can confirm this.. I'm using the drivers included with
    redhat 8.0 kernel revision 2.4.18-17.8.0. Center channel is
    dead all other channels are working fine. I just bought me
    some inspire 5.1 5200's and my mp3's and stuff sound sweet
    regardless.

    i've the same problem :
    new Live!5.1 + 2.4.19 kernel + driver 0.2 => no sound from
    center/sub

    Well, it doesn't work for me neither.
    I have RedHat 9 (2.4.20-8), installed the emu-tools and
    enabled the analog output for the third channel but still no
    sound on the center.

    I can confirm this.
    I've got a SB Live! and am running the Movix2 mini distro.
    Kernel 2.4.22, Alsa 1.0.3.

    Might it be possible to route de center/sub to another
    output with alsa or /etc/modules.conf?
