Please pack downloads with zip instead of tar+gzip, or provide both.
Windows is not great with tar.gz, especially if you cannot install stuff,
as on locked down corporate machines. OK, there may be workarounds,
but please be user friendly.
Tools to unpack tarballs under Windows are readily available. [*] lists a few.
Regardless, providing zip archives in addition to tarballs isn't much of a burden, and if it helps users, why not.
