HI to all
I started writing a interface from <HAL> and <bus canopen board> and
<I/O device>
Is possible open a forum over the theory about we need first have a new
HAL-FIELDBUS-CANOPEN and after write a driver for the IO device or motor
driver device, but for the moment is not in my goal.
I started writing a "user GUI" (GTK based) and "kernel HAL component",
base over CANFESTIVAL (a stack for CANopen for different "CAN bus
board") and one IO device (Phoenix IO) and three motor device (Elmo
Motion Control).
I have ready a first skeleton, start the gui for show the internal state
of realtime component, and a componet CANfestival, compiled with
drivers/timers_kernel/
drivers/can_virtual_kernel/
Now the conopen packet is only printk in the dmesg, so The packet is not
ready for the normal user, but some developer can have some interest.
Now the conopen packet is only printk in the dmesg.
The next step, I try to connect canfestival with driver for Peak CANopen
board.
I want publicate this work, I don't have idea if the EMC developers want
insert this in the some branch of EMC or I find other site to show.
Ciao
Manzo
