Bruce, That's great! Are you going to publish the spec on the Embedlet site? (embedlet/doc) That would go a long way to focus efforts on a standard pinout. The importance of hardware standardization cannot be overemphasized. Scalability can be limited as much by the hardware decisions as the software limitations. We can develop a JAPL package to support the connector and a hook it up to the Blinker demo application that I am putting together. The demo is very simple: A Timer, Toggle and DigitalOutput, but it demonstrates all of the core containment, initialization and wiring functionality.
