[Embedlets-dev] Almost back...

As I indicated in an earlier post, we had an ice storm move through Southern
Ohio last weekend which brought down thousands of trees and snapped a
significant number of power poles.  We have been without power since Sunday and
the latest estimate is that the area that I am in will not have power until
Saturday.

We bought a generator today so I will attempt to get to things like putting up
the embedlets website and redirecting the embetlet.org and embedlets.org
websites within the next few days.

You know, things like not having electricity, not being able to get out of the
driveway (its 1/8th of a mile long), not being able to take a hot shower and
loosing all of the food in the freezer were not so much of a problem but for me
not having access to the Internet was a real killer! ;-)

One good thing that came out of this is that I did manage to get a 100 pages
into Hatcher and Loughran's new 'Java Development with Ant' book.  So far it
has been excellent and I have found that there is nothing quite like reading a
Java technical book by the light of a Kerosene lamp...
