A basic version of the accounts page has been released. This involves addition of new services broker.accounts module in the platform and new widgets for the webaccess package.

webaccess 0.3 has been relased, with a pleasing look and feel. At present only the Home and login works.
In next few weeks, we hope to release the other pages too. our demo is available from http://gnuranch.com:8080/webaccess

webaccess 0.2 leverages html/dom components with javascript, and provides faster web access to free trading platform. Though not fully functional, the login widget works and other components will be built in the same way.

New Feed-Broker server 0.2 version has been released.
this contains the first version of order management system and infrastrcuture needed for other functions.

free trading platform demo has been launched at http://opentrade.us:8090/webdemo

otp simulator has been started at the default address specified in the PotTrader client. This simulator will run 24/7 sending simulation data, for users who may like to see something happening in the PotTrader client. I hope this serves the purpose of a demo.

PotTrader 0.1.03 is released. this release completes basic connectivity between the OTP server and PotTrader client. Also this release contains basic GUI for connecting different servers, adding and removing symbols from the streaming table.

Stallman, Moglen outline GPL 3 plan

The original drafter of the General Public License (GPL), Richard Stallman, and his top legal assistant, Columbia law professor Eben Moglen, outlined some plans on Thursday for next version of the seminal license. The current GPL 2 was drafted in 1991, but Moglen and Stallman are trying to modernize it.

Though the Free Software Foundation representatives didn't go into details about actual changes expected for version 3, they did say they plan to listen to suggestions from many others.... read more

OTP 0.1 released on May 8, 2005. This release contains the feed receivers and feed simulators for nasdaq, siac, in-memory database for storing of data and JMS publishers to distribute data to clients.
