#12 import list files

can u tell me what the 'procedure' is for importing an email list into emailsender? e.g. what format, etc.
i tried text but keeps saying email address is not valid. if it is .csv file, does it need a 'header' row, or how should it be set up? also, is there a limit to how many emails can be in a list?
