Hi, I am not ale to save an existing file (ex. c:/temp/test.c). When I tried to save the file with (Ctrl-x Ctrl-s), emacs said "Saving file c:/temp/test.c..." but the contents of the edit file was never written to the file.
There is no permission problem as emacs were able to create c:/temp/#test.c#
I am using:
GNU Emacs 25.1.1 (x86_64-w64-mingw32)
of 2016-09-17

with windows 10.
Any help is greatly appriciated.
KT

Hi,
Sorry to hear that. But I never saw it before. Does this problem also occur when you start emacs with "-Q"?
Sorry,
Chris
Hi Chris,
Thank you for the suggestion. "-Q" did help.
Thankt,
KT
Hi,
So there is something to do with your configuration. Maybe it is some auto-* packages are to blame.
Good luck,
Chris
