[Emacs-vr-mode-users] vr-mode with natspeak 7

hi,

I have NaturallySpeaking 7 Preferred, and just tried using the beta of 
vr-mode 008. when I use M-x vr-mode in emacs, the following happens:

a window titled VR Mode Process Status pops up.

it is immediately obscured by an error window, which reads:

IDgnEngineControl::Register failed (0x80040206)

the only button to click is OK, when I do this I get another error box
saying "NatSpeak initialization failed."

when I click OK on this window, the process status window also closes.in 
the emacs mini buffer,I get the following message:

Error in process sentinel: VR process exited with status "exited 
abnormally with code 255"

any ideas on what I can do to get vr-mode working?
