[jabber.el] Interpret or strip html formatting from messages?

I have been using Jabber.el for some time now, but recently I have been
having problems with people sending me messages with html notations embedded
in the messages, which jabber displays directly.

For example

[12:27] Joe> <font size="3">no</font>

As you can see, it makes it difficult to read the message being sent. Is
there a way to either interpret or strip the formatting from the messages?
