Design changes

Although it is working fine, the graphics (video) module needs some restructuring before adding new features. I would like to work with other graphic programmers in this aspect.

In the other corner, the EXE code is also going to have some minor changes. For example, for clarity all the Game Object classes will have CG before its class name (and in the filename): CGElement, CGActor, CGPlayerControl, etc.... read more

Just starting

Hi People!. I am a hobbiest game programmer and I have been working on this engine long time ago in my spare time, but I realized the creation of game engine is too much work for just one person. Wanna help?

Aside from the documentation and some general improvements for more easiness of use, the next major goals for the engine are:

- Collision Detection and Response using BSP trees. Oriented to First Person Shooters, and other 3D games with fast action.
- Sound and Music. Currently the engine is just wrapping over FMOD (although it is a very good library, isn't it?).
- A Graphic User Interface with buttons, windows, text fields, message dialogs, etc.
- A hierarchy of Game Object Classes, over a Client/Server architecture, to help the creation of 3D games.
