Hi out there,
The main new feature of version 1.5.0 is the ability to display waveforms during simulation. A new parameter 'WfDispMode' with values in the range 0..7 is used to set waveform display mode in the configuration file. Some of the modes pauses simulation allowing the user to examine waveforms before resuming simulation. The default (fastest simulating & original) waveform display mode is WfDispMode = 0 which results in display of waveforms only after simulation has completed i.e. the way eLogSim versions before 1.5.0 operated.
In connection with the new waveform display modes, graphical Run,Resume and Stop buttons have been added to the main menu. The Stop button is used to stop the simulation engine in situations where further simulation is not desirable. Another - but minor new feature - is the registeration of the count of timing violations and writing it to the log file. Finally,a number of minor bugs have been fixed and some cosmetic improvements to a.o. status bar info have been implemented. Last but not least, the manual has been updated to version 1.5.x.
Enjoy (hopefully ;-) .. and as usual let me know thru' the discussion forum if you experience issues.
Regards
Lars
