Exim Ldap Mail Administrator / News: Recent posts

As I changed my employer a few month ago, I no longer have to maintain email servers any more. So it does not make real sense for me to be responsible for the ELMA project any longer. That's why I decided to pass the project lead over to adan0s who is now responsible for the email infrastructure at my former employer where ELMA was developed for.

There is a new Version available at the download section. the multiuser feature has been implemented. The LDAP schema has also been updated (sorry not automatic update script available), to make LDAP stored data more imap server friendly. the next release will include example config files for courier and dovecot imap and maybe for perdition imap proxy.

Finally it is done: the first public alpha release is available in the SF download area.
So start downloading and testing and of course submitting bugs ;-)

This big event will take part on the first of may 2007.

if nothing goes wrong the 0.1 release will be ready until the end of this week.

The svn setup is complete and the first files have been uploaded. At this stage of development the most important functions for creating, listing, deleting domains, users and aliases in the ldap tree are working. An install checker script is run when calling index.php for now. Adding a modify check for the above items will be added soon, before starting with the webinterface design. If someone has whiches on the interface design feel free to contact me.
