    Hi,
I am hoping to do a TDDFT calculation for task 450 and 460, And I should use the circularly polarized light. So, how to set the circularly polarized light in the light source parameter?
    I'd appreciate your help.

    Hello,

You have to apply two orthogonal linear pulses which are 90 degrees out of phase. For example:

    ! laser pulse parameters
    ! 1 - 3 : polarisation vector (including amplitude)
    ! 4 : frequency
    ! 5 : phase in degrees
    ! 6 : chirp rate
    ! 7 : peak time
    ! 8 : full-width at half-maximum
    pulse
2 : number of laser pulses
     10.0 0.0 0.0 0.03 0.0 0.0 240.0 120.0
      0.0 10.0 0.0 0.03 90.0 0.0 240.0 120.0

    Regards,
    Kay.

      Hello,
Thank you very much for your answer. I would like to ask you two simple questions: 1. How to define whether circular polarized light is left or right handed? How do we define the incident direction of the light source? Do the three values in the polarization vector represent the three directions xyz?
      I'd appreciate your help.
