Hey guys, Just want to get a feel from the people on who has downloaded the software, and is actually looking at the code? I have a lot of interested people emailing me, but would love to hear from you guys again!
Thanks,
Jay
A CVS cleanup and work has started on 0.3a. I plan on remodeling how Templates and Modules will work. This gives way to fixing alot of the current problems as well as starts the move to working on a (x)windows/console backend. As well as an install system for modules and the script itself.
The EW Project Team is proud to announce the release bug fix release of the FULL Eliteweb CMS system. It fixes a few issues with the install and removes some old dependant links.
Thanks,
Jason Kendall

Waiting to release the current CVS tree, however I'm seeming to have problems connecting to the upload server.
Just wanted to point out that the CVS tree has been fixed and updated.
Ok, Now I figured out howto start a CVS module, and howto use WinCVS (Purely for the GUI :). Now I just have todo is wait for SF admins to start my CVS from scratch and I'll re-init the CVS database with the proper data. Just to let you know. The Module: Eliteweb is correct as of right now and is useable. Once the all the CVS modules are deleted I'll recreate the Eliteweb module.
Welcome Patrick Mackeown to our humble little home. Patrick will be heading up the C devlopment of the project.
We plan on using C as a source to add remote functionality to the system. (IE Add news, manage files from a client machine without needing to access webpage).
Anyone wishing to help on the project, or just want to talk about where it's going and what it plans todo, feel free to join us on IRC!
Server: irc.silent-chaos.net

CoolAcid Entertainment network is putting together a Gaming News Website using EliteWeb. This will be the Beta Testing Grounds to EliteWeb. As things start to come to progress for EliteWeb they will be added to the XcessiveGaming Website.
Even though the site has not be released to the public, select users that have seen the Script in action have very positive comments.
We look forward to making EliteWeb the best Web Engine Available to the Open Source Community.... read more
I've just added a spelling module to the project and implemented it's use into the news module. It's actually quite cool, slow, but cool.
I belive it's only slow because the dev system is only a Pent. 166, but it's chugging away!
I've just completed the preliminary work to add spelling ability to all the modules. More news about implementation soon.
Implementation expected in the following modules:
News
Forums
Email
Currectly,
Working Modules:
Rquote (A Random Quote System)
Test (A Test module showing the use of Templates)
SemiWorking Modules:
POTD/Webcam - Shows the POTD with database support and future adding of POTD's. Just working out WebCam support.
(Semi)Working Standalown:
News
Forums
Files
Reviews
We are always looking for devlopers.
Please email Coolacid if your looking to help.
Just finished cleaning up a bunch of code. It now allows other modules much better. It does it internally insted of getting it from the browser and forcing multiple runs of the same code.
Check it out: http://devloper.jakendal.dhs.org:980/eliteweb/eliteweb.php

Asked my sister for a Test Web layout. But I'd like to get someone working full time on layouts and CSS/Java. You would work out layouts for the Default templates as well as CSS styles and some mini-java scripts.... read more
A test module is available!
http://devloper.jakendal.dhs.org:980/eliteweb/eliteweb.php?module=test
This module shows how templates work, and the new potd system which is mostly done.
Once we have completed the user api we will start working on more modules!
The Beginings of EliteWeb's API and modules are now in CVS.
Once I learn CVS a little better I will clean it up.
Posting of a Demo Site will be soon I hope.
We are currently starting to look for PHP programers to help in the devlopment of modules for EliteWeb. Included in this task will be to help API devlopers (Including yourself if you wish) to make the API better suited for modules.
Please Visit: http://sourceforge.net/projects/eliteweb and email one of the lead devlopers.
Eliteweb over the weekend has been able to access and use it's first test module.
We will keep an update on how the first test module comes along as the API continues to devlop.
Currently we are looking for people to help come up with requirements in the API, as it stands it functions but has little features.
After playing with NAT firewalls our server is now active. Look for working links of EliteWeb to follow soon.
Unfortunatly, at this time, the server is being shared with a Unreal Tournament Server. Not that it's hurting it much, it's a beast of a computer. well.. ok not really.
Look forward to first looks soon!
Eliteweb's Dev server is now in devlopment. we are greatfull to Gipsoncoil for the donation (Kinda) of his old PC for this task, and a UT server. :)
