#158 DateTime field problem with custom publication forms

I have created a custom publication for entering/editing the information. When I edit data, the values for all the DateTime fields are set to '0000-00-00 00:00:00' in the database. Next time around, these zeros are interpreted as 1969-12-31 23:59. I go back to using the default entry form, and all is well.

The only problem is with these fields. All the other fields are being updated correctly.

I have looked at input.datetime.php, but have not found anything that looks like a problem. I'm still not sure why it would work with the standard forms and not the custom publication form.
