Open the "Security Groups" panel. Under "Group Permissions", select the green ("Grant Permission") button.

Attempt to add a firewall rule allowing pings from anywhere. Under "Protocol Details", select ICMP, ICMP Type 8, ICMP Code 0. An error message will be given; the UI is apparently attempting to validate the now-hidden TCP/UDP port fields.

To work around this, set both of the TCP/UDP port fields to 0, then select ICMP and fill in the Type and Code fields. The rule will be added correctly.
