Can EL4J be used to diff two xml documents instead of merging them ?
This is a good question. I don't think it was ever tried. But maybe you could adapt e.g. the MergeAction and the Merger for xml diffing?
Or probably it's better to see whether the MergeAction and the Merger can inspire you for writing your own diffing algorithm?
On the other hand, diffing is not trivial, so maybe better profit from real experience (i.e. select a tool that "buys" you (it can be Open Source) a few 100 hours of experience)?
