Summary: Selecting the MBeanServer and connection method.
Initial Comment:
I'd like to have the option to select the MBeanServer in the
web interface, just like I can using the Swing application. I
want to use the web interface to manage an MBeanServer
that I need to connect to using JRMP (it uses MX4J 1.1.1).

The JMX Web Application is only intended to be use on the
server it is deployed.
On one hand, I don't plan to allow remote connection from a
Web Application. On the other hand, I think that the Web
Application should allow the selection on the MBean server
if there are more than one registered. Move to a Todo item
#795167.
If you find a solution for remote connection, please submit
a patch and I will do my best to integrate it.
