Hi I want to create a OCSP service that returns OCSPResponses for certificates issued by my internal EJBCA and for certificaates issued by other CAs that I can access its CRL's how can I achieve this, furthermore considering that I can't create a certificate from the another CA with the extended key usage of OCSP signer. is it contradictory to the OCSP standard? Hi Toru, The tool will be a script to find all message keys unused in administration web page, i.e. not called by JSF/JSPF pages. A good way to maintain language files is to often checkout SVN, and make a DIFF with the English language files, e.g. with Eclipse. You can also use the script “check-trad.pl” to find untranslated messages. More often you check the SVN, less you have language messages to update, add and/or remove. After updating language files, you can make patch, then send Tomas and/or me, for verification, then integration to SVN for the next release. Since some years, I make refactoring on these language files, in order to make easy to maintain, and add new languages. Currently I work on issue to refactor Help message keys, and I already work on Japanese language file too (as other languages), and I continue. But, for the next release 4.0.11, Japanese language files need to be updated, because several issues had added and removed message keys, from May 2011 (base date of your translation, I think). I propose you to speak about the Japanese language files in private, and I'll give you all elements to update Japanese language files. Randy, I once did a similar upgrade and ran into problems. Then I did a stepwise upgrade which solved the problem. Hi Tomas, I have intermittent success upgrading different instances to eventually getting to release 3.11.x. I was wondering if when doing an ant upgrade is successful but then a restart of jboss indicates that a table is not added, are there manual create statements I can re-run to see what the exact problem with that database upgrade step was? -- Randy Yu -----Original Message----- From: Tomas Gustavsson [mailto:to...@pr...] Sent: March-15-12 3:25 AM To: ejb...@li... Hi Toru, Nice to hear that you can maintain the translation. Lets show you how. Perhaps David can tell you how he does it? He is also working on a great tool. Since EJBCA is our trademark, i'll have our business guys contact you regarding press release. Hi, Very good news, and the result is beautiful, but I don't read Japanese. Tomas: Thank you to put English first, and remove the broken language (pt-BR) from the list. ;-) It would be better to put JA (Japan) in alphabetic order, i.e. after IT (Italian), isn't it? FYI: as I work on ECA-2579 (Help message keys refactoring), I'll backport the language modifications which are already done (on my local machine). Must be a jar somewhere with an invalid class. If 'ant clean; ant deploy' works, all classes are right. Perhaps you have some custom jar somewhere in jboss? Isn't that just the JBoss 5 bug? You need to remove deploy/tmp and deploy/work when JBoss doesn't realize things have changed. /Tomas On 03/13/2012 10:26 PM, Randy Yu wrote: > Thanks Tomas, I will keep database backups for each version that involves db changes and do comparisons. > > When going from EJBCA 3.6.4 to 3.7.5 now I am seeing the following when trying to reach the administrative interface. Hi, We have today released EJBCA 4.0.10, and released 3.11.5 last week. This is a maintenance release containing 1 new VA publisher feature, 1 security fix and GUI improvements.. * Noteworthy changes: - Possibility to only publish revoked certificates to VA. - Possibility for OCSP to handle "non existing is good" different depending on OCSP uri. - Fixed XSS issue in admin GUI. - Admin GUI improvements for looks and consistency. David Carella has contributed many GUI improvements for the last few releases. - forms and tables are colored according to consistent rules. - all forms and tables are split in several logical sections. - all similar fields (e.g. “[_] Use”, “[_] Critical”, “[_] Required”, “[_] Modifiable”, etc.) are vertically aligned. - all check boxes (and radio boxes) can be checked by clicking on its label, - two rules for in-line help for PKI administrators and RA officers. - forms are globally more compact (the page heights are smaller). - naming of certain object are more consistent across the web. EJBCA 4.0.10 and 3.11.5 contains the last security fixes after completing our security certification campaign. There are only security fixes to the admin GUI, not other parts have been found vulnerable. Regards, PrimeKey EJBCA Team |

As you see from the Jira, EJBCA has a CLI that does what you request. Works fine for the internal responder. For the external responder you can sync the database from EJBCA still. We have a tool here at PrimeKey for importing CRLs to the external responder, but it is not merged into the public release. Thanks Tomas, I will keep database backups for each version that involves db changes and do comparisons. When going from EJBCA 3.6.4 to 3.7.5 now I am seeing the following when trying to reach the administrative interface. Was a method name changed for administrative access? java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.ejbca.core.model.log.Admin.(Ljava/security/cert/Certificate;)V : org.ejbca.core.model.log.Admin.(Ljava/security/cert/Certificate;)V -- Randy Yu -----Original Message----- From: to...@pr... Either try to figure out what to fix in the database tables (accessrules, adminentity, admin groups), or create new admins using the cli. If you are lucky your server log will give you some hints. Hi all, I've been browsing through old messages. And i was wondering what ever happened to: https://jira.primekey.se/browse/ECA-1002 Last change (by Tomas) was done in june last year. afaicu, it is about being able to setup an ocsp-responder, and feed it by an (irrelevant how obtained) CRL-file. reason for my interest is that OpenVPN does not handle CRL quite well. Specially when confronted with larger CRL's or multiple CA's, OpenVPN has _serious_ problems. Kind regards, Hans |

Hi, I get a certificate request from a user to be signed by my Ejbca CA, After I signed the certificate by the CA, The user check the modulus md5 hash for his key, certificate and the csr using openssl command: *openssl x509 -noout -modulus -in server.crt | openssl md5* *openssl rsa -noout -modulus -in myserver.key | openssl md5* He found that they are missmatch! What the problem would be? Hi, Yeah that is a very long upgrade to do in one shot. Probably some admin group id got messed up in that upgrade. Either try to figure out what to fix in the database tables (accessrules, adminentity, admin groups), or create new admins using the cli. If you are lucky your server log will give you some hints. Cheers, Tomas Randy Yu <yu...@ec...> wrote: >When doing the upgrade incrementally through all the minor version, I >am successful in my testing up to version 3.6.4.
