If you are unexperienced I think you will have better luck going for the Quick Install guide. http://ejbca.org/docs/installation.html#Ubuntu%20quick%20start Adding MySQL to the mix will only make things more complicated for you. Are you sure the JBoss errors you get was not given before you run ant install? Since your first message at ant install is "No EJB receiver available" meaning there is no EJBCA on the server side. Perhaps you have errors during ant deploy? (note that you can not use a single core VM for installation as noted in the quick start guide). my jboss was running properly, something like 79 services running out of 200 services. after I uninstall i get this. Your JBoss did to start properly. Before trying to run 'ant install' you
need to check the JBoss starts ok. You probably have better describing
error message much earlier in the jboss log.

the jboss is runing just fine and i placed module.xml file and
mariadb-java-client-1.1.5 in jboss_home/modules/org/mariadb/main and this

Andreas, I made a backup of my old 4.x host and built a new server for 6.x because Jboss was also updated. Hi, If I am not mistaken leading 00 are supposed to be truncated in the encoding. "Contents octets give the value of the integer, base 256, in two's complement form, most significant digit first, with the minimum number of octets" Since a leading 0 in the most significant bit is redundant, it is removed to form "minimum number of octets". If you check the JBoss server.log there is probably a message saying what actual error there is.
