Hi Ajay, You have to install the superadmin certificate that can be found in p12 folder. You need just a double-click on the file called "superadmin". The default password to complete the installation is "ejbca". After the install of superadmin certificate have success, you can access the EJBCA administration. Try on Internet Explorer at first time. To install superadmin certificate on Firefox or Chrome you have to access the browser settings. Regards, Maurício. ________________________________ De: ajay koul <aja...@gm...> Enviado: domingo, 9 de outubro de 2016 11:18 Para: ejb...@li... Hi, "ant bootstrap" is not a command that is used during installation. See here for the installation guide for EJBCA 6.3.1.1: https://www.ejbca.org/docs/installation.html#Installation%20guide A good start is following the troubleshooting guide and look at the JBoss logs. See here for more information: https://www.ejbca.org/docs/adminguide.html#Troubleshooting Regards, Tomas --- Save time and money with an Enterprise support subscription. Hello, Can someone suggest to me how to setup or configure EJBCA to work in the 'Throw Away CA' mode? I do not have a need for EJBCA to publish/update a CRL or a Directory service. Thanks! PG |

The same administrator that makes a request can not approve it. That would break the concept of approvals if you could approve your own requests. Hi,
I'm trying to "Add end Entity" in ejbca, but not able to approve the requests.
Here is the procedure I follow
- Create end entity profile
- Add end entity with the new profile created.
- I get a response saying "Request is sent for approval"
- When I goto approve actions I see the request, but cannot approve.
The request stays there for 8 hours, so I cannot try again.
Am I following proper steps to create the end entity ?
Is there any way to reduce the expiry time of the requests?
Thanks & Regards
Ramya

Hi Brian, In the Certificate Profile it's specified if this extension should be possible to add at all to a certificate, if it should be put there if there is any value to put. In the End Entity Profile you specify if registration should include altNames, and which should be included. This captures the actual data, and limits what can be captured. Certificate Profile defines the technical X.509 contents of certificates. End Entity Profiles defines the actual data that will be captured for end entities (required, modifyable etc). Hi I'm configuring a policy. I configured an End Entity profile, and now I configure the Certificate profile. I don't understand why we can configure the "Subject Alternative Name" in both EE profile and Cert profile. Thanks, regards Brian |
