    Hi,

Could you please us know if it is possible to access EJBCA remote objetcs using EJBCA web service (EjbcaWS) ?

Basically we are interested in below remote objects

    CaSessionRemote
    CAAdminSessionRemote
    UserAdminSession
    CertificateStoreSessionRemote
    CertificateRequestSession
    CertificateProfileSession
    EndEntityProfileSession
    ServiceSessionRemote
    CrlSessionRemote

As per my understanding EjbcaWS has limited functions. It will not have all the functions which are supported by above remote objects. (am i correct ?)

We want to access them from different server. We have tried this using JNDI, but mutual authentication is failing with
below exception. (With unsecure port able to access remote objects)
javax.naming.CommunicationException: Can't find SerialContextProvider [Root exception is org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE: vmcid: SUN minor code: 208 completed: Maybe]

    EJBCA version : 4.0.6
EJBCA is deployed in Glassfish Version 2

    /Raj

No, the purpose of WebService is not to access generic remote object, so this is not how it works. You can read up on Web Services on the internet, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_service.

EjbcaWS has limited functionlity, which is the functionality that is/has been required so far. It is of course extendable when new use cases show up, and has evolved with new things since 4.0.6.

    Cheers,
    Tomas
