EJBCA Install VIA LiveCD Question

I read in the wiki that you must use the default user when installing the live cd to the harddrive.

Note: The current version requires the username to be "jboss" and host "livecd" when installing to a harddrive to get automatic startup of EJBCA and SignServer just like on the CD

After the installation is complete is there a recommended process to modify the account/hostname information while still allowing automatic start-up?

I would also like to use the installation provided by the live CD as a starting point to develop a production installation. Is this recommended? I had quite a few problems trying to install EJBCA to a base install of Ubuntu, so I figured I would try this method and it has worked for me so far.

We have never used the liveCD as a base for a production installation.
The LiveCD uses a desktop version of Ubuntu, which may not be ideal for a production system. I would use Ubuntu Server.
