I would like to upgrade EJBCA 4.0.16 to 6.5.0.5, but the leadership asked me to upgrade the reasons I think there are many, but do not know how to say. I may not know enough to understand the EJBCA.

EJBCA 4 only works on old OS, old Java etc and it will be impossible to upgrade OS, java and application server while running EJBCA 4. This setup will break down completely and be unpatched and vulnerable to all kind of security problems.

I know. During the upgrade process, what I need to pay attention to?
Read the upgrade part of the install guide, and also go through doc/UPGRADE.
