Soft token and self registration

I configure end entity profile to use p12 token as default, but new entity get user generated token.
When I disable user generated token in available tokens, I recive message "User information does not fulfill requirements: Soft token type is not available in End Entity Profile."
    What is the reason?

In end entity profile you select which token types are allowed to use. The actual token type is selected when you "add end entity", simply select you desired type when you add the entity.

    Hello, Tomas.
It's true, but I want self-registration to work with soft tokens.
    Is it possible?

    Best regards,

I have the same problem. Is there a solution?

  • Tomas Gustavsson

Currently in it is hardcoded to use the User Generated token type (SecConst.TOKEN_SOFT_BROWSERGEN).

It would be a good idea to use the "Default token type" from the End Entity profile instead I think. That would probably solve your issues right?

Feel free to open a new issue in Even better if you know java and can make a patch of course :-)
