    Hello,

I want to retrieve the certificate issued for a device on EJBCA server.

I tried using cvcgetchain command that is used to retrieve the last certificate chain for a user.

I am using the below command

    root@localhost clientToolBox]# ./ejbcaClientToolBox.sh EjbcaWsRaCli cvcgetchain 13_1497
    Number of argument: 2
Command used to get the certificate chain for a user. The users last issued certificate is returned, according to the certificate validity date. If two certificates have the exact same issue date the order is indefined.
    Usage : cvcgetchain <username> <basefilename>

The certificates are written to <basefilename><order>.cvcert. Order nr 1 is the users certificate, followed by the CAs certificates.

    MY QUESTION:
What is the basefilename here ?

    PS:
I am using clienttoolbox. I was able to successfully execute find and add end entity command.

Since you are trying to retrieve something, basefilename is part of the filename it is saved as. Try it out and you will see.

    Cheers,
    Tomas
