Which file did you download? Probably the easiest way to
install and run MAS on Windows systems is to download and
    run the file:
    setup-mas1.6.6q.exe

Running this file should install mas and setup an icon on
your desktop for running it. Before installing you should
try to make sure any files and directories that were placed
on your hard drive when you unzipped the 'zip' file are
removed (although if you can't find them, the install will
    probably still be fine).

If the install doesn't work or if you have some problems,
please let me know. (Particularly, another XP user is
having problems with the configuration to get data from
yahoo.com. It'd be helpful to know if this works for you.)
I don't have a lot of time for providing free support, but
I'll try to help - many problems are small and easily fixable.

(FYI, if you downloaded the mas_v1.6.6t3.zip file, this file
only contains updates of primary executable files in the
system. It can be used, for example, to obtain a later
version of the mas.exe file than that in the 1.6.6q release.)

The setup-mas1.6.6q.exe file can be downloaded from:

    http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/eiffel-mas/setup-mas1.6.6q.exe?download

Just pick a mirror site and the download will start.

    Good luck!
