OK! OK! I broke down! I solved the ACCESS DENIED ERROR by installing XP SP2!
 
That shows you how much I wanted to run MAS, because I had refused to do it
until now for many reasons.

I have installed mas1.6..6q on my Windows XP Pro SP1 machine.
 
I continue to get ACCES DENIED ERROR(s).
 
I have combed the mail-list archives and found a couple of emails regarding
this ERROR. I have tried the suggestions with no hlp.
 
I am desperately trying to find someone who has MAS up and running under
Windows XP Pro SP1.
 
Please help.
 
I will try any and/or all suggestions.
