[MAS-discuss] Another New User

Greetings,

I'm new to MAS and technical analysis in general.  I just have a few technical
questions about the install I hope someone can help me with.

I have a linux servre that runs all the time.  I would like to run the server
portion on it, and run the client on my PC.  I've looked at at the docs I can
find and can't find anything regarding the port number mas uses.  Does anyone
on the board know?

Obviously I'm running with the assumption that it is better to have the server
portion running most of the time.  I would also be interested in hearing if
this assumption is correct.

So far though, it looks pretty cool.  I'm looking forward to getting into it a
little.
