Do you mean a web server proxy?  Since with -w mas does http queries, I
would guess that if accessing a site via the proxy with your browser works,
then it should work with mas; but I don't have personal experience with
this to say for sure.  Has anyone else tried this?

I wouldn't call it a newbie question particularly, but it's a good one for
the FAQ, once we have a definitive answer.
