I don't see anywhere in the installation MA_Client.class
but running the client gui both in windows and linux
looks for it and, of course, fails. Under classes, there is
only a CL_Client class file.

You don't mention what release this report is for, so I will
assume that it's for the latest 1.6.6q release.

The java *.class files are now contained in a jar file named
mascharts.jar. If you use the MCT to start MAS (assuming
the installation/configuration succeeded), this file should
be found automatically. Otherwise, if you're starting mas
by hand, from the command line, you'll need to start the
client such that the java runtime engine knows to look in
    the mascharts.jar file.

(Tip: If you don't know how to do the above, but the MCT
works, run mct with the -debug option, capture the output,
and use that output to give you clues to determine how to
start up the GUI successfully from the command line.)

You know it's too bad you abandoned this project. I just
spent 6 hours trying to get it to work, and no go. That's the
problem with open source. After 6 hours, your response to
this problem is even more puzzleing.

I have the same problem as others have had, the server
works but the gui doesn't. There's a jar file and a CL class
file, but no MA class. What is MCT and in how do you expect
people to know that? The docs sure don't mention it. The
list is empty, your responses are incomplete, and nothing
works. java -cp whatever.jar... and then how do I start the
client? I'm a perl and C programmer but do I have to learn
    Java to run this program?

Btw it shows up first on google if you search for technical
    analysis.
